A quick post today. I was walking through a subway at Elephant and Castle, London last week, sizing up the walkway for a photograph when I saw a Bus creeping into view. Camera was on, ready to shoot. Gotcha!

Nice leading lines to that colorful bus Andy.

Thanks Len. It was the lines that first attracted me. I was hoping a human might hove into view, but a bus was better.

This shot would be interesting without the bus, or with a not-red bus. But the red bus takes it to another level.
Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make the railings go from blue to grey. I wonder if that is done with forethought.

Thanks. London got something right – Red Buses. What a difference that colour make. I don’t think I could imagine London withut that colour.

Wonderful lines and interesting graphics make this a compelling shot to explore. Looks like they have smartened up the Elephant & Castle since I was last there – all I remember are swaths of plain concrete and rather grubby concrete at that.

Thanks Mark. I lived around there way back in 1970 – it was rather grim in those days. There’s a lot of development going on around there now.
