Just off Oxford Street in central London down an alleyway on the way to the Photographers Gallery you will find this facade. An abstract on a grand scale. Layered reflective strips creating a fractured surrealistic impression of neighbouring properties. A one-off, fascinating building to which I will return.

Nicely spotted. I like the abstract reflection and colours in this one.

Thanks Robin. This is a one-off in my travels round London. When I return to the Photographers Gallery I will take another look at this.

How attractive. London’s buildings have so much to offer to the discerning photographer!

London is a fascinating place to take pictures. At first glance sometimes, one views its development and thinks: more of the same. But when I really get down into the detail there is such variety. And I’ve never seen anything quite like this

I love this image, Andy! When I first saw it in passing I thought it was water … but what a delightful surprise it was to realize it was another element altogether (air!).

Yes, Heide, it is rather like rippled water. Another example of how, changing one’s position by only a few feet, will completely alter the content and colour of the image

It looks like it’s made from the world’s best-ever, large-scale, reflective Popsicle sticks!
