A broad Front
The area around Victoria in Central London has been a rich source of new images this year. On my regular trips to London, if I have the time, I take a walk around the area searching out images. Each day … Continue reading

Patchwork Pattern
This is the facade of a building on Oxford Street. A very unusual 3D facade with geometric projections, each of which reflects the sky. I have photographed it several times, and on each occasion the overall effect is different. It … Continue reading

Window Light
Windows are canvases on which light paints an interpretation of the surroundings. Sometimes the interpretation is accurate, sometimes it is closer to Cubism than reality.

Replacing the windows

Window Gallery
This is a single image of a stepped facade which has been rendered a little more geometric by straightening not just the verticals, but also the horizontal lines – distorting the perspective for effect. Regular readers of this blog will … Continue reading
A Neighbour’s Imprint
Yesterday I was in London (in-between the strikes currently being inflicted on passengers travelling on Southern Rail by the Unions). I am still familiarising myself with the London terminus at which I now arrive – Victoria Station. A station whose … Continue reading
Split Screen
I’ve been looking through the Archive while the rain pours down. I remember this image – shot in March 2012 in the Chelsea area of West London. It’s one of those images that you look at and think: how was … Continue reading
A cubist canvas
I spent a few minutes walking near London Bridge last weekend. The Shard dominates the Skyline in this part of London but I have yet to capture a satisfactory image of it. I’m really not bothered because there are plenty … Continue reading
