Table Talk

What goes on above one’s head is often missed. And when I see something like this, there’s always that little niggle that wonders if one of them will look down and see me pointing my camera up at them. These two didn’t look like they were going to break their concentration any time soon.

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.

Neither one looks particularly happy. I don’t think it’s an argument — it looks more like trying to talk through a difficult situation: a break-up? job loss? Who knows? But it surely is an evocative photo.

I agree – the figure in the middle of the shot doesn’t look very happy and that rather spoils the overall effect. But it’s never easy to spot those little problems on a small screen on the back of the camera. I should have shot a series and given myself a better chance of a better ‘face’.
