Lunch

Massive re-development of the area around Victoria station is matched by many new restaurants and cafes. This one caught my eye. Above street level, away from the hustle and bustle, and in a quiet corner, lunch is taken.

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.

Isn’t it crazy how much you can glean from body language — even when it’s just silhouettes? Love this intriguing image, Andy. Everything from the leading lines the the human forms makes the eye linger for a good, long look.

There are in fact four around the table – two more partially hidden behind pillars. Of the two visible, one looks more relaxed than the other. It was close to three in the afternoon – a long lunch (?). Intriguing is a good word – thanks for your thought Heide.
