Looking up

An undulating broad ribbon of reflective material hanging from a ceiling in a newly-opened  superstore yielded this abstract image. Never forget to look up!

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.

You live in the most reflective world. I can’t remember ever seeing reflective material used in stores around here — of course, I avoid malls like the plague, so that could be part of it.

I really like this one. I never would have figured it for what it actually is, but I do like the the way it seems to present different sorts of stylized waves: especially the curl on the far right, and the running waves in the middle left. The colors are great, too. Look up, indeed!
