Faces in the window

A department store window is hardly where you would expect to see Frank Sinatra. But this is most definitely him.

IMG_5466And peering out not far from Frank was another star from the past: a young Cary Grant, I think. But I’m not entirely sure. Over to you.

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'. I'm not averse to manipulating images to produce derivatives that may sometimes be far removed from the original.

Aahh, old Blue Eyes, loved/love his singing. Are you a fan?

That is Cary Grant in the second photo. I love the “Hollywood” style portraits like these. They weren’t as easy to produce as you might think.

  3. Without a doubt, Cary Grant peers out from within. 🙂 Love these old-time photos. Nice look back, Andy!

Nice images of these talented performers Andy. It seems that everywhere you look, these stars of the past are appearing in TV commercials too.
