Stuck in this seemingly never ending winter, even a few minutes of blue sky can raise one’s spirits. It happened briefly yesterday.
Summer will come, eventually. We hang onto our memories. We look forward increasingly desperately to the feel of warmth on our skin. We plan, we dream, we hope.
These must be difficult times for a specialist shop selling Sunglasses. But every time I walk past this shop, it’s shop front brightens my day.

About LensScaper
Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.
🙂 Have a good easter.

Nice shot Andy. I have a feeling we will not have a true spring. The transition will be from winter directly into summer…

Thanks Len. I’m sure you are right – we’ve seen these dramatic shifts before and after this winter I suspect the change will be abrupt

It seem Spring is a long time coming this year here, as well. I like this shot, too.

I agree with Len, I think spring will be so short this year that if you blink twice you will miss it and we will already be in summer. At least you will be prepared with your new super-cool shades, Andy!

Thanks for your comment, Mark. I suspect you will be proved right/The whole season will be compressed and those of us who enjoy capturing it will be dashing round like ‘blue-arsed flies’ as the saying goes! That shop is not only cool looking, I suspect the prices will reflect the ‘uber-cool’ merchandise.
