Let me take you there

So far this month I’ve acquired another two hundred images and last night I was looking through them and felt spoilt for choice. And as my eye scanned through them I found that one perfect symmetrical image that I just knew would benefit from a bit of doodling.

So here you have the output of half an hour’s play in Photoshop’s filter gallery aka ‘the toy cupboard’ – specifically Polar Coordinates.

These images are not to be taken seriously, they are just the product of an inquisitive mind that thinks: ‘I wonder what would happen if I pressed that button’? When they work, the results are worth the time expended.

And a title? Suggestions please. Click the image to view an enlargement.

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.

If you don’t like Scotty for some reason, then Space Cupola was what first sprang to my mind.
