Perfusion

It’s Friday already – where has the week gone? Maybe it’s something about being retired, but life seems to rush by in a blur these days.

Today’s image popped up on my desktop after another rummage in the toy cupboard – otherwise known as Photoshop’s filter gallery

What do you see, first glance? I wonder if you see what jumped off the screen at me.

An Embryo. A bit distorted admittedly, but I see a head, a fat umbilical cord and legs folded at the knees. Do you see that?

Having seen that, the title was easy. It’s great when something just happens and the title is obvious. But don’t take it too seriously. It’s only a doodle, but doodling can be fun.

About LensScaper

Hi - I'm a UK-based photographer who started out 45+ years ago as a lover of landscapes, inspired by my love of outdoor pursuits: skiing, walking and climbing. Now retired, I seldom leave home without a camera and I find images in unexpected places and from different genres. I work on the premise that Photography is Art and that creativity is dependent on the cultivation of 'A Seeing Eye'.

Its definitely foetal! And I love it! i would not expect to like such bright colours – but yes. It is fun playing with filters – i have just acquired CS6 and wonder whether there are any new ones to explore.

Sally, thanks so much for commenting. I’m glad someone else sees what I saw. I would be interested to know if the filter range has been increased in CS6. Andy

  3. Nice one, Andy – I’m still at the learning stage, brightening up dull landscapes, or adding a bit of contrast to a mountain view.

You should have a FUN WITH FILTERS DAY, where you show us how the clever use of PS filters can extend our creativity and still be a fun project. This is sweet!

Great vivid color Andy. I wouldn’t have seen the embryo but it is probably like looking at clouds…

Alright Andy I will give you props for a beautiful and very interesting image, but it going to take more than I drink to see anything else. LOL I’m just kidding, but I really like it. Great job!

Phillip, thanks for that! I can assure you I was stone cold sober when I made that image, but slightly startled by what I appeared to have created at first glance.

That’s a fun filter. Spiderman releases this weekend so the colors reminded me of Spiderman 🙂
